Product Details
Our Heat Transfer Vinyl (“HTV”) Glitter is a heat applied product designed to add sparkle and shine to any garment. This material is thicker than most of our other HTV films, so increase the downward pressure of your knife blade to 200 grams (minimum) to ensure clean cuts and easy weeding. Recommended for use with the following fabrics: Acrylics, 100% Cotton, Polyester Knits, Polyester Mesh, 100% Polyester and Poly-Cotton blends. NOTE: Not for use on nylon or dazzle cloth. Available in 27 colors — Rainbow White, Silver, Gray, Black, Blue, Neon Blue, Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Aqua, Green, Jade, Neon Green, Neon Yellow, Neon Orange, Light Gold, Multi, Burgundy, Cooper, Cherry, Red, Pink, Neon Pink, Lavender, Purple, Neon Purple, Rose Gold and Yellow. Compare that to Cricut’s 12 colors!
Twill USA is a leading distributor of HTV Glitter — commonly referred to as “Glitter Vinyl” — which competes against Stahls’ CAD-CUT® Glitter HTV, Cricut® Glitter Iron-On and Siser’s Glitter HTV in the marketplace. Additionally, our HTV Glitter is 66% wider (20″ vs 12″) compared to Cricut® Glitter Iron-On. Sold in 1 yard increments up to 50+ yards. Why buy from JOANN, Hobby Lobby, Michaels® or other middlemen online when you can purchase direct from the manufacturer? Twill USA has dozens of Heat Transfer Materials in hundreds of colors, warehouses in Nevada and Indiana for fast delivery, plus $10.00 flat-rate shipping on all orders. HINT: Run a lint roller over the transfer area (on the garment) to remove any loose threads or stray fibers. Preheat your garment for 5 seconds. Place the transfer onto the garment, then place a cover sheet over the design. Time, temperature and pressure may vary if using an iron instead of a heat press machine.
Cutting Info
HTV Glitter can be cut using any laser cutter, plotter cutter, or desktop (craft) cutter like Silhouette Cameo and Cricut. Laser-cutting allows for super fine detail and is easier to see where the weeding should start. NOTE: Prior to cutting the HTV Glitter, you must flip your design so that it’s it’s mirrored in your cutting machine. We recommend that you do a ‘test cut’ when using this material for the first time.

Fabric letting has traditionally been sewn onto jerseys, but inventions patented by TwillUSA in the area of pressure-sensitive and permanent adhesive formulations allowed for decorating those athletic jerseys for the purpose of identifying player names, numbers and teams. This fabric became known as “Tackle Twill” because of its durability and use in full-contact sports, and TwillUSA takes its name from that fabric. Now, more than 40 years later, we manufacture more than 30 different HTV materials and fabrics in 100+ unique colors, patterns and textures. Our production facilities in Indiana & Nevada double as wholesale distribution centers for the United States, Canada and Mexico, allowing most UPS® Ground shipments ($10.00 Flat-Rate) to arrive at the customer’s doorstep in as little as 2 or 3 days.

HTV Glitter FAQs
Can HTV Glitter Be Layered?
It depends upon the material. HTV Glitter can only be layered with other fabrics — such as Sports Twill and Sports Felt — but not other films like Heat Transfer Vinyl or HTV Flex Film. NOTE: Cannot be layered on top of Metallic Twill as the Hot-Melt Adhesive does not adhere to the metallized yarns.
Does The HTV Glitter Flake?
Our HTV Glitter is very durable. It has been tested to withstand 50 wash and dry cycles without cracking, peeling or fading.
Can You Sublimate With HTV Glitter?
Since the HTV Glitter has polyester fibers, it may be used for sublimation depending upon the color (Rainbow White only).
Do I Cut Shiny-side Up or Shiny-side Down?
You must mirror image the design before cutting. Load your HTV Glitter on your cutting machine with the shiny-side facedown.
Does HTV Glitter Feature An Adhesive Backing?
Yes. It’s thermal adhesive backing (P600 3-Mil Polyback) provides stability for cutting + heat-pressing on garments. The polyester-based coating has no PVC and can be cut on plotters, lasers or even hand-cut.
Can I Cut The HTV Glitter On A Tabletop Plotter?
HTV Glitter cuts clean on all desktop cutters including Cricut and Silhouette Cameo. All forms of cutting work — laser, plotter, flat-bed plotter, die cutting and shearing.
How Long Does Glitter HTV Last On The Garment?
We have tested this material up to 50 wash and dry cycles without fraying, cracking or peeling.
Do I Have To Use A Cover Sheet When Heat Pressing?
Yes. You should always cover your HTV Glitter with a brown kraft sheet, parchment paper or TeflonTM sheet to protect the HTV Glitter material, the heat press machine and your garments.
