Our proprietary Hot-Melt Adhesives are manufactured in-house and can be used to coat your own fabric. PS960 and PS965 come on a mylar carrier and feature a pressure sensitive tack for repositioning. HTV Sports Film (formerly Kwik Cut Sports Film) is our registered name for Heat Transfer Vinyl, which is commonly referred to as HTV, Iron-On Vinyl, Heat Press Vinyl or Crafters Vinyl. Thicker than most HTVs in the marketplace, we believe it is the best choice for full-contact sports like football, hockey or rugby. It can be washed and dried 50+ times -- even dry-cleaned. Our proprietary Adhesive resists dye migration and abrasion. Add a textured appearance with embossing paper to simulate the look of Leather (Pebble Grain) or Tackle Twill (Twill Grain) fabric. Twill USA carries 2 types of reflective material. Be sure the choose the product that is best for your project by following the guideline below.

3M Silver Applique material is intended for applique projects and can be either sewn or heat pressed to the garment. The best way to cut this material is with a laser, but you should be able to cut it on any equipment designed for applique fabric. It has permanent adhesive on the back, so can be heat pressed or sewn, according to your preference. 3M Reflective fabric does NOT come on a carrier, and is cut in direct, or face-up, image. 

HTV Silver Reflective is a vinyl material supplied on a mylar carrier. You cut this material on your vinyl cutter in reverse, or mirror, image. Then weed away the excess and use the sticky carrier to place the design on the garment. 

Application Instructions

Rhinestone Athletic Balls are available in 2", 3", and 4" sizes. If the shape is not round, expect the listed size to measure the largest dimension. At this time, Stock Rhinestone Designs are only available in Crystal. You can contact Customer Service to order additional stone colors, or if you'd like to see another type of ball added to the collection. Pre-Cut Sports Film Number Packs are the #1 choice for economy in numbering systems. Each pack contains 10 pieces per digit.  Currently available in 2 fonts, 3 sizes and 6 colors. Preheat the garment to stabilize size and remove moisture. Align the digits in the desired position and cover with a clean release sheet.

How to choose which backing is right for you:

Choose heat seal, or poly-back, twill if you are heat setting your numbers and hand sewing them. If you prefer to sew multiple layers together prior to sewing to the garment, heat setting the layers together on a pellon layer will make this process much easier.

Choose PSA, or pressure sensitive adhesive, if you are using a sew file. You hoop the garment, run out your placement stitch, and then peel the backing from the PSA number and position on the placement stitch.

16.5" Permanent Sports Twill is a heat seal product designed to be laser-cut and heat-pressed onto garments without sewing. Similar to PSA Permanent except it does not have the peel-and-stick component. As such, it is somewhat limited in the number of ways it can be cut and applied. Its thick, 5-Mil non-PVC adhesive (P600 5-Mil 16.5" Permanent) will not burn from laser cutting while it simultaneously prevents fraying. Permanent This product works best for simple 1-color designs like letters or numbers, and it is only recommended as a background layer. When used for emblems or patches, simply die cut the design, then sew, Merrow- or satin-stitch the edges to finish it off. Permanent Sports Twill is our registered name for Tackle Twill fabric with a "Permanent" adhesive backing, and is comparable to Stahls' CAD-CUT® Perma-TWILL in the marketplace. Tackle Twill is an ideal fabric for creating logos and numbers for sports jerseys. But without a coating of Heat Press Adhesive, it can be a difficult and flimsy material to use. 16.5" Polyback Sports Twill features an anti-fray thermal adhesive backing (P600 1.5-Mil 16.5 Polyback) that completely seals the twill yarns and provides stability for cutting + sewing onto garments. Its polyester-based coating has no PVC and can be cut easily on plotters, dies, lasers or even hand-cut. NOTE: Can be heat pressed to hold the design in place, but it must be sewn to prevent fraying. We offer Sports Twill in a variety of different adhesive-backings, including PSA Twill, Permanent and PSA Permanent. Sports Felt is a type of textile fabric made from non-woven Acrylic. This material is very strong and durable, which makes it a favorite for activewear applications including retro-style logos + numbers for throwback jerseys, crafting, and appliques. Very popular on sweatshirts and beanies. But without a coating of Heat Press Adhesive, it can be difficult and flimsy to use. For this reason, we offer adhesive-backed versions which include stabilizers so that it's easier to cut and handle. Our adhesive-backed versions are called Polyback Sports Felt, PSA Sports Felt, and PSA Permanent Sports Felt.  Permanent felt (No PSA) is available in limited quantities and colors.
