Product Details.

Fluorescent Flex Film features a permanent adhesive backing designed for use with textiles, which has been tested at 50+ wash and dry cycles. *** The features of this material are nearly identical to the All-New Flex Film. The instructions to cut and heat-apply it are the same. It is 15″ wide and sold by the yard. Orders for fewer than eleven (11) yards of a single color will not be rolled onto a Core. ***

Application Info.

Recommended for use with the following fabrics: Cotton, Polyester, Acrylic, Nylon and Poly-Cotton Blends.

  • Temperature: 250°F
  • Time: 20 seconds
  • Pressure: Firm
  • Peel: Warm/Cold

NYLON: First press at 285°F for 5 seconds, peel warm, then hit again for 15 seconds. We recommend our Brown Kraft Sheets for covering the transfer during the second press.

HINT: Run a lint roller over the transfer area (on the garment) to remove any loose threads or stray fibers. Preheat your garment for 5 seconds. Place the transfer onto the garment, then place a cover sheet over the design. Time, temperature and pressure may vary if using an iron instead of a heat press machine.

Fluorescent Flex Film FAQs.

What Is Fluorescent Flex Film?

Fluorescent Flex Film is almost identical to the All-New Flex Film. It is less wide compared to HTV Flex Film by 5 inches (15" vs 20"), which results in 180 square inches of less material per yard. Available in one (1) color: Neon Green. The All-New Flex Film is available in six (6) colors: Black, White, Red, Gold, Navy Blue and Royal Blue. So if fluorescence is not important to you, and you desire more color options, then we recommend the All-New Flex Film instead. Questions? Contact our USA-based Customer Service Team at (866) 806-9120 or email Sales@TwillUSA.com with any questions or comments.

Is Fluorescent Flex Film Stretchable?

The All-New Fluorescent Flex Film is a durable, polyurethane-based Heat Transfer Vinyl ("HTV") that is highly flexible and stretchable. It must be ironed onto garments, also known as "Heat Pressing," to activate the hot-melt adhesive for the material to stick to most fabrics. If fluorescence or stretchiness is NOT an important feature for you, please consider our HTV Sports Film instead.

Is The Fluorescent Flex Film Layerable?

We recommend Fluorescent Flex Film for layering as you can put 2 or 3 layers on top of each other for multicolor designs. It can also be layered on top of Sports Twill, Sports Felt or Fashion Fabrics.

How Easy Is Fluorescent Flex Film To Weed?

Weeding, which is the process of removing unnecessary material from a design, can be fair to moderate, especially when working with small letters or intricate designs. Peel warm or cold. See "Application Info" above.

Which Side of The Fluorescent Flex Film Do I Cut?

Place the All-New Fluorescent Flex Film glossy-side face-up. The clear Mylar carrier holds the Flex Film in place so that the design stays intact when cutting and heat pressing.

Can I Cut The Fluorescent Flex Film On A Tabletop Plotter?

The All-New Fluorescent Flex Film cuts clean on all desktop cutters, including Cricut and Silhouette Cameo. All forms of cutting work — laser, plotter, flat-bed plotter, die cutting and shearing.
