Also known as Scrim Felt, the Uncoated Starched Felt is designed for use with chenille fabric. Made from blended Rayon/Wool (80%/20%), this bleed-free material is applied as felt lining for chenille athletic letters or mascots. Easy to cut and handle. Available in 2 colors — Antique Gold or Purple. Product is 42″ wide and sold by the yard in rolls up to 50+ yards. NOTE: “Uncoated” means this material does not have an adhesive backing and must be sewn onto garments.

Can I Layer Uncoated Starched Felt?
Uncoated Starched Felt is not recommended for layering with other materials. It is designed for use as felt lining for chenille varsity letters and must be sewn onto the garment.
Is Uncoated Starched Felt 100% PVC-Free?
Yes. Uncoated Starched Felt is 100% free of PVCs.
Can I Cut Uncoated Starched Felt On A Tabletop Plotter?
Uncoated Starched Felt can be cut using any laser cutter, plotter cutter, or desktop (craft) cutter like Silhouette Cameo and Cricut. Recommended settings for the Silhouette Cameo 3 are listed in the “Cut Settings” section above. NOTE: Perfect for laser-cutting as the material doesn’t burn as much as Acrylic Felt.
What Blade Should I Use To Cut Uncoated Starched Felt?
A 60° blade works best for cutting Uncoated Starched Felt. On some machines it’s called the “thick” blade. Machines vary, but 150 grams of downforce is usually sufficient to get a clean cut.
